By setting up a turnaround reference image I was able to match the shape of the persons body, through extruding shapes and then moving then by using the grab tool i created various details on the body. e.g. calves, thighs, chest, back, etc etc. the use of the mirror tool allowed for a symmetrical object, and it cut my workload down by a significant amount. By turning of intersection between the mirror and the original i was able to prevent any kind of clipping, this was then followed up by removing the faces that would be in the middle of the model and would not be visible.
