through the use of a mask i added an image of a wave into a coffee cup. this means that the wave will only appear in the area that is marked by a mask, potentially creating the illusion of the ocean in a cup if done right, in this case, it could have been done better.

through the use of photoshop effects i was able to create a translucent copy of the original photo in cyan and red to create a glitch like effect. the way the coloured copy was moved could be altered at command to create various effects.

By creating a mask of the circular swirl of colours that i created, i was able to block out parts of the circle that I didn't want to appear and was able to create this effect.
